“Towards Personal Service Centers”: the Rinata Association conference proposes a new model for RSAs

On Wednesday, February 1st, the Rinata Association organized the conference “Towards Personal Service Centers” at the RSA Gesù Maestro in Cinisello Balsamo, a new model to overcome the current RSAs. Home services, semi-residential services, residential services and Service Housing Solutions (co-housing) in a single management solution.

Health Invest, together with its partner Comfortcura, actively participated in the conference, bringing a story of the Residenza Bicocca that is being built in the Bicocca neighborhood of Milan, which will be aimed at both self-sufficient elderly people, thanks to the apartments, and non-self-sufficient elderly people through the RSA, but also a beautiful testimony of the services that Comfortcura offers to all RSAs that want to raise their quality standards.

The conference explained how the Rinata Association has committed to offering a specific contribution on the topic of a new model for RSAs as Personal Service Centers. RSAs, in their new condition as Personal Service Centers, must therefore be called upon to contribute – together with the other actors provided for by current legislation: social services, health services, families, third sector – to the creation of a personalized holistic project determined by the frail person, offering services suited to the needs and desires of the individual person, from the home scenario to that of residential care, and which directly connects the personal project budget.

The aim of the conference was therefore to propose a new organizational (and cultural) model that appropriately characterizes the offer of the integrated system of services to the frail, non-self-sufficient person.
