RSA: what evolution in the post Covid-19 era?
The impressive spread of the Coronavirus has inevitably hit and put to the test the RSAs (Residenze Sanitarie Assistenziali) in Italy, as well as throughout Europe. The fragility of the guests present, a certain unpreparedness for the unexpected explosion of the pandemic, as well as the inadequacy of many of these structures, have unfortunately amplified the emergency causing a painful massacre. Once the most critical phases of the Coronavirus emergency have been overcome, it is necessary to analyze what happened and what did not work.
Following the poorly countered spread of the Covid-19 contagion within the RSAs, leaving aside the sterile controversies and biased speculations that have inevitably followed, those involved in the design and management of the RSAs now have the obligation to evaluate and reconsider a whole series of aspects that have often been underestimated up to now.
