Redevelopment of Via Celio completed!
Trees, parking and traffic. The redevelopment works of Via Celio in Milan have been completed and, to celebrate the closure of the construction site, on June 23 at 6:30 pm, the Councilor for Urban Planning and Green Dr. Maran, together with the Councilor of the Municipality 7 Arch. Tiziana Vecchio, Rodevita Spa executor of the works, cut the ribbon in the presence of the residents of the neighborhood.
The works were carried out as a deduction for costs by Rodevita San Celso S.r.l. as part of the demolition of the school complex “ex Istituto San Celso” and the consequent construction of a new Residential Health Care Facility with an adjoining Day Center.
From being an anonymous and poorly maintained road, the street has come back to life both in terms of traffic and parking, better signposted, but also in terms of landscape with trees and green lawns. Not only that, the restyling of Via Celio saw the creation of new sidewalks on both sides of the road, new lighting and the resurfacing of the road with the reshaping of the carriageway and the creation of 57 herringbone parking spaces on both sides.
